- Drop-off Option: If preferred, you are welcome to drop off your catalytic converters at our designated facility.
- Shipping: Alternatively, you can ship your items to us. Please ensure that they are securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit.
Our assay service is comprehensive, covering:
- Catalytic Converter Units: Complete units are assessed to determine the value of precious metals contained within.
- Loose Ceramic Catalytic Converters: We also evaluate loose ceramic material from converters, ensuring you receive value for all parts of your catalytic converter.
TDA Metals is committed to providing transparent and fair compensation for your catalytic converters:
- Initial Payment: Based on an initial visual assessment, we offer an immediate payment of up to 80% of the estimated value of your converters. This allows you to receive a significant portion of your payment upfront.
- Final Assessment: To precisely determine the quantities of valuable metals such as platinum, palladium, and rhodium in your batch, we may require up to 3 working days for smaller quantities and up to 14 working days for larger quantities. Following this detailed assessment, we will promptly process any remaining payment due to you, ensuring you receive the full value of your materials.
